visita iglesia 2012

7 in the morning, the sun is waking me up and the air is humid. I saw sunlight through my window, this is the usual 7 am. Another day to celebrate God’s blessing. A new breather, a new day to unwind and a new moment to mark the history of our faith and penitence.

This day is Maundy Tuesday, Holy Thursday in the Holy Week, and Christians celebrate this day by exercising the “Visita Iglesia” wherein families, group of friends, relatives, brothers and sisters in the community visit nine (9) different churches around the Philippines or any part  of the world. It is a tradition that still runs through Filipino Blood until today.

As a close Catholic – Christian it is more like a habit, a drug, a vow, a way to express our faith and beliefs and our passion.

So I went straight to the bathroom, getting ready for the most memorable day of my holy week and here it goes the story continues.

I would like to join you to follow our mini-adventure for today 🙂

Have a blessed Holy Week.
